| i want to start a new blog! but i don't think i'll have the time to keep it alive/interesting. and i really dislike it when i leave my blog to die/stagnant :/ oh well, what should i do?
anyway,
i had my sights set on this pair of floral mary janes pumps on f21. It's really gorgeous! and not to mention...
it's sold out!!! ): so sad! I really wanted it although it's a little too high for my liking.. I comforted myself by saying i wouldn't really wear it out much cause i wouldn't wear it to school anyway, and it would be too expensive to ship here(35USD) i wanted the black pumps too but it was also sold out. I was asking around whether anybody wanted to order f21, but it was too late, my darling shoes were goneee. Saaad/
on a lighter note, my ASOS parcel arrived a week or two ago! I like the gray croc print bag and the graphics printed dress. My favourite would be the cream crotchet brogues though! Haven't broken in them yet. My parcel from sg also arrived, on my birthday! Was super super excited! A new cream jacket, this long navy dress which can be bunched up into a top, a coral knotted dress that i could see myself dressing up and down, silky nude shorts and a nude sheer dress. Shall get them out for wear soon! (:
Spring's coming yayyy! although the rest of the world is gearing up for autumn, i'm gearing up for spring!! excited excited! New wardrobe pieces and time to come out of my huge knits!
What i'm looking forward to :
not wearing jeans/leggings all the time anymore! sounds lame, but sometimes it really does get boring cause the weather is cold and i simply can't wear shorts with socks or go bare legged with high boots. it's still cold! Trying to tell me i can layer up socks with shoes and still keep warm? doesn't work for me not thick skinned enough haha. or even stockings sometimes. The cold wind still gets through it.
note to self; next autumn/winter, get
ONE pea coat. ONE thick knit. and ONE new pair of boots. okok maybe two
Also looking forward to lighter layers! and lusting for my nude/tan leather shorts that are no where to be found.
Btw pics for mine and dz's birthday are up on fb! uploaded them not too long ago. Pics taken with cephas's camera. i really enjoyed my birthday! (: treasure hunt conducted by dz with note cards, which led me around the house, to the car, searching kitchen cupboards and rummaging around the drum kits. wheeeee. the ice cream cake's still in the fridge/ that's the good thing about ice cream cakes, you can keep them for a long time! as compared to usual cakes. Janice did a card for me and gave me a polka dotted camisole. haha and she surprised me with cupcakes too which we shared. And received many happy birthday wishes online, several online mails, one blog post! and several msges through the phone(: thank you!
I just had dinner(at 10pm) because i was being such a good girl that i am(haha) and was doing my econs assignment. Which i sent to dora to have a look . To which she proclaimed it looked like GREEK to her. hahaha. shall continue with it later/tmr? I'm quite tired.

| Feel like starting a new blog on fashion and life. (i think i might actually and put highswing to rest)
Fashion;
Sometimes i think liking fashion is superficial, but hey i look and realize lots of people love it too!
It's a passion, a hobby; an addictive thing.
Shopping;
Shopping and buying clothes/bags/shoes to me is kind of like how buying art pieces is to art collectors.
I love collecting beautiful clothes, and of course, wearing them.
I feel immensely pleased when i see new clothes hung up on my clothes rack, displayed for me and my whole room to see! (like really really immensely pleased with myself and satisfied!)
Fashion blogging
Fashion blogging is apparently a big thing now, and i love reading blogs with inspirational quotes/pictures/fashion/yummy food/lifestyle!
especially nice houses/lovely layouts/gardens!
When i was small i always wanted to create a big beautiful white house with a large garden in front, a swimming pool and a big porch and high ceilings and
(you wouldn't want to hear my dream fairytale story would you?)
haha.
i had everything planned out!
I wanted an attic, wanted 2, no, 3kids, planned how many bedrooms&toilets there was to be..
(although the number of bedrooms and toilets kept increasing according to my big plan-.-)
Anyway, i also feel like buying an absolutely gorgeous felt notebook and start collecting life quotes, and
writing them out in fashionably fancy cursive words.
In june, i did a scrapbook.
A scrapbook filled with pictures of clothes/models/celebrities/make up, and it's not that fab after all
(double thumbs down)
i thought it would be extremely inspiring but after a while i gave up.
Cut, paste, cut , paste, trim, cut, paste, trim...
it takes so much time and effort. not to mention, enduring patience.
like how dz said: i cant believe you can spend all your time doing.. this!!
haha.
plus i'm not exactly the effortlessly neat kind of person.
Overall, it's just not fantastic, but it'll be useful once in a while when i browse it.

| You know the feeling of seeing a piece of clothing that immediately makes you feel happier? It happens.
And it just happened!
I don't normally buy tees because i'm the kind that have at least 50 of them of which i only wear several a year. :p really wasteful. sigh but one day i'll wear them rmb? (sacrastic) so i'll just leave them there. Really DO hope i'll wear them though (not sacrastic)
Anyway this tee i saw, a marc jacobs designed tee! i looked at the print and felt happy! like i would totally wear it when i'm feeling lazy or nerdy or lousy. It simply brightens the day up.
Wondering whether i should get. Because.
i. have. so. many. teeeeeeees.
